Locked in Life

The Dailies app · live November 2, 2026

Make the plan.
Then go live it.

A local community for people who actually show up — and a short daily list you keep in public, not in private.

What it is

Two halves that need each other

Phones were built for communication, not for passing time. The Dailies uses yours for what it is actually good at: making the plan, so you can go and live it with people who live near you.

Live at launch

The people around you

Everyone within 20 miles of where you are standing. Runs, lifts, hikes, cookouts, bible studies, cowork sessions, dinners — posted by real people, open to anyone inside the circle. The radius travels with you.

Live at launch

A list you keep in public

A short set of daily commitments, locked in each morning and visible to the people around you. Not a private checklist you can quietly abandon — a word you gave, where someone can see whether you kept it.

Challenges and stakes

Group challenges with a shared goal, and the option to put something real behind your own consistency. Being built, and arriving after legal review — not part of the November launch.

Happening now

Retreats

A weekend or a week, in one house, with people from the community. The first ran on Long Beach Island in September 2026. A longer one is being planned for the new year.

How it works

Four steps, and none of them cost anything

  1. Land in your area

You get the community inside a 20-mile radius of where you actually are. Not a national feed, not a follower count — the people close enough to meet.

  2. Find something to turn up to, or post one

Host a run, a lift, a hike, a dinner. Or RSVP to what is already on the board near you. The host decides how wide the invitation goes.

  3. Lock your list each morning

Choose your daily commitments and lock them. After your lock time the list stops being editable, and the deadline is midnight. That is the whole mechanic.

  4. Build a profile that means something

Keeping your list shows up on how you read to every room you walk into. It is the difference between saying you show up and having shown up.

The community

It started as a note on somebody’s phone

In October 2024, in an apartment in Florence, Italy, a few roommates started writing down what they were going to do each day in a shared note on an iPhone. No app, no tracking, no money. Just a list everybody could see, and the mild discomfort of having to say out loud that you had not done it.

It kept going after everyone went home. It spread by word of mouth to people who had never met each other, ran monthly calls, ran challenges, and eventually ran a retreat. None of that needed software. That is exactly why the app is being built the way it is — the community came first and the product is catching up to it.

“We are truest to our decisions when we have bound ourselves to them publicly.”

Robert Cialdini — the line the whole thing was built on

Ask anyone who has stayed why they did, and almost nobody says the habits. They say the people. Which is why the local community is free, is the front door, and is not a feature bolted onto a habit tracker.
